The Wicked Fun Weekend

Yes, I wish I could have come up with some snapping title for today but after five hours of a sleep, a three hour drive and two with active children "The Weekend" is the best I can come up with. This weekend I went to Arlington, Texas. We, The Sooner Sensations, were there for a coaching retreat. It was really great. I learned a lot. I am not sure about all of this emoting on stage but I worked on it and will continue to work on it. I drove back this morning to be at church for Sunday school and Children's Church. I would like to say it was wicked fun but that seems strange to say about church. We reviewed our Sunday School lesson, played a memory verse game and then made turkeys for Thanksgiving. I think all of the children had fun. We had a record seven children this morning. It does not seem like much but it was a really good turn out. So I would say it was a good weekend. I am looking forward to Monday night rehearsal and nest Sunday. It is going to be fun.

I am Back Again

This is going to be a short entry, at least I hope it will be short. There has not been much going on here at the Wigwam. The husband has been out and about this last week and I have been doing a few things around the house. Shadow, the monkey terrier, has been a real go-getter to include killing a bird. The wildlife population here in Oklahoma has decreased be two thanks to our small clan. I ran over a snake. I have not really felt like posting lately. I hope that "bad" attitude will change. Although, I think I has been around since June when I last posted. I went to Florida last week to visit friends and family. It was a good trip, a lot of memories made to include Af-raq-a-stan and Run Anna! But those are the kind of stories you had to be there to really understand. It is ten minutes until my self prescribed bedtime. I think I will close this entry out. Truly, Michele
