I Just Keep Trying.

It has been almost two weeks since my last post on here. I have no excuse for this week but last week was premiere week so I was glued to the television. The only issue I have is CSI:Miami does not premiere until this Sunday. I just watched an extended preview and I am on pins and needles waiting. Other than that everything is good. It has rained just about all day today, and that is awesome. The temperature has drop slightly and there is a good breeze blowing. Hopefully it will help cure my homesickness. Friday I am going to try and get new glasses. We shall see how that goes. I am also going to get some new clothes and a new Bible, if I can find one I like. So, here is to a good week and hopefully an even better weekend. :)

And We Begin Again.

I think this makes my third comeback. I have been trying to keep this blog up for a while and it is not going according to plan. In my defense though I will say that a lot has happened since the birthday entry. I found out that after six years my "vintage" (I do enjoy when someone younger than me calls my belongings vintage) Mac Powerbook died. This was not a real issue until my husband deployed and he took the only remaining laptop with him. The last few weeks have been weird to say the least. I am currently borrowing a computer from a friend for which I am extremely grateful. Windows Vista on the other hand can take a long walk off a short pier. So the computer would not end up on my kitchen table like everything else; I bought one of those pre-fab desks for the "office" in our apartment. I was huffing and puffing my way up the stairs to the third floor with my fifty-eight pound desk my neighbor closes his door because I was distrubing his phone call. Lucky me. This is the same neighbor that barked at my dog at 0030, when his loud music and laughter (another party I missed) made Shadow just a little cranky. All that being said I hope to make more entries to the blog and keep everyone up to date on what is going on. As for my husband he is deployed and doing well. He is doing a lot of training, making communication next to nil and me sad but this is Army life. So, until the next time . . . Love, Peace and Hair Grease.
