Don't Box Me In

Well, it has been a week since we moved our first official boxes into the house. I would say there are about twenty boxes left to be emptied. It still looks like a cardboard factory in here. The issue seems to lie in the fact the some of the things that should work do not, there is no washer and dryer as promised, the kitchen sink leaks, and the refrigerator will not close. Plus, I need some cleaning supplies before placing dishes in some of the cabinets. But these are the perils of being a renter. I am still very excited about making this our new home. As soon as I can get that finish I will post pictures.I am hoping by the weekend to be done with at least the living room and possibly one bedroom. As the clock is an evil master, only he and time will tell if I can accomplish this feat.

The New Home

What the next step is . . .

Happy New Year! We, Karl and I have moved to the mainland and now live in Oklahoma, starting a new chapter. We have found a house to rent. It is wonderful little home in a circle not far from post. Karl will have a man cave. This is very exciting for him. Somewhere to display his Star Wars memorabilia and to play his Xbox 360. And I have a place for my "nice" furniture and my piano. I will post pictures once we got back and get all our things moved in. It is going to be a wild next couple of months.
